Practice overview
Impercyclo is a Basel-based planning studio specialising in workplace layout, furniture specification, and move coordination for organisations from twenty to two thousand employees. We do not sell software subscriptions or operate coworking spaces.
Every deliverable is a physical planning outcome: test-fit drawings, furniture schedules, and installer briefs grounded in Swiss workplace norms and cantonal building requirements.
Geographic focus
Headquartered on Aeschenvorstadt, we serve Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft, and cross-border teams in Alsace and Baden-Württemberg who commute to Roche, Novartis, and Mittelstand headquarters along the Rhine corridor.
Site measures use laser distance meters with floor plans exported to PDF and DWG under client NDAs.
Fee philosophy
Transparent CHF day rates and fixed phases rather than percentage-of-lease hidden margins. Typical test-fit for 800 sqm office CHF 4,800; full planning through move CHF 28,000–65,000 depending on complexity.
Furniture procurement administration optional at 6% of net purchase value with three-quote minimum per category.
Differentiation
Unlike generic interior stylists, we model headcount growth scenarios, acoustic zoning, and IT closet adjacency before selecting chair fabrics. Wellness programmes and spa fit-outs are outside scope.
We collaborate with licensed architects when partition walls trigger Bauamt submission.
Engagement model
Discovery call, proposal within five business days, kick-off workshop on site or video, fortnightly progress PDFs until handover walkthrough.
Principal planner attends every kick-off; juniors supported not solo-dropped.
